I was going to go for goat this winter only because I never realy got a chance to go hunting in the last 5 years and the goats do come down bellow the tree line in winter
There is one spot between Prince Rupert and Terrace where are they come right down to the skeena River each winter well below the tree line
the funny part of it all is I'm status Indian and can legally pretty much go anytime when weather is cold
Me and my youngest stepbrother went on a scouting trip and shood have stayed out week or two longer but the dummy brought his girlfriend and wen thay started fighting that was the end of the trip ( I know not to go with them but felt guilty Canceling at the last minute )
Evan now ther is no time as I have to go in for a piss test on the 28th in PG and start work on the jan 4th just a bit south of Fort McMurray
This year was crappy work wise and hunting I ran out of money just befor I started hunting and if I can't pay my way I don't go
Any way we can go get you 15 Blackie especially with the boat now get into sum Pretty Remote spots
Spring once I'm caught up on the bills I'm going to start carving marble again and try to get away from the Oil patch
The oil patch keeps getting in the way of hunting and fishing life is just one big oxymoron Haahaa

Life sure sucks when it gets in the way of having fun! Be glad you've got such a well paying job that you can survive between shutdowns. Many people do not have that luxury
