Anyone know if this is going to become a normal thing?

Yes, there is a new import. IIRC it's a fairly large one.

Any website showing the quantity??? I got one and im wondering if I should have got more.

I also noticed a few hex mosins and mosin carbines floating around on other sponsors websites.

Wonder if I should be getting excited or if its to early to tell.

I mentioned this about 2 months ago, an LGS told me Chinese SKS were going to be available after the first of Dec. refurb and as new non issued like a few years ago! The Chinese made multi, multi millions of these, unless the government puts a stop to importing or China finds a use for them, we should have lots for a long time. Obviously there will be dry spells.

At $249 from TradeEx there probably isn't a reason not to get two. weimajack may very well have some hand selected examples up on the EE in the coming weeks, only time will tell.

They said the same thing about Lee Enfields and the Kar98s. Look at them now.

No kidding ,and non bast@$dized !!

I`m shocked at the prices these are selling for ! And the problem is ,I would like a nice full wood LE..any nice one would do (with a decent barrel/bore)

What exactly determines the collectability of a firearm, bolt or semi ? Did I waste my time buying all these various SKSs over the years ..AHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhh.......LOL

Now my 2 LEs...those are NOT collectables....but good shooters (bubba got to them before me)

Refurb No.4 Mk2, excellent action & bore. Full stock in good condition, not new, but what I would certainly call good to very good surplus; $150.

A lot of years ago... :)

I know I know...boohoooooooo !!

I remember going to SIR a good many years ago and they had beautiful, unadulterated Enfields by the score. The shameful thing is ,guys were buying them to bubba into deer rifles, but again...who knew right.

A few gun shows ago I spotted a fairly nice No4 , worked smooth and pretty tight ,great wood. But then I broke out my .303 Brit cartridge and stuck the bullet into the muzzle....it went up to the brass neck.Shot out !

Oh well.

I would still get another Russian and Chinese SKS to add to my "COLLECTION" if the price is still in line and reasonable.
