Updated - Anyone notice dealers are starting to get Chinese SKS?

I bought one from a local dealer in 1988. Chinese military. They were not common at all. Ammo was scarce- I think PMC was the only thing available locally. Dies were available and I reloaded for mine. Never fired a round of corrosive through it. Traded it in early 90's for something I thought I needed more. Paid $275 if I remember correctly. I think this was one of the first imports into Canada.

Got my Chinese SKS in 1991. Paid 125 for it. Still have it in a ATI stock I picked up. It's a junk gun but I do shoot it from time to time.

I like my Type 56 because it is truly all matching and unissued. I think I'd sell both my Russian refurbs before I'd list my Chicom....
