Cz in any variant..I have never owned one that didn't fit my hands just perfectly..or shoot so well.
 
My top 10 quintessential handguns:
(In no particular order)

- an original single action Army/Navy
- Mauser Broom Handle
- Luger
- an original 1911 or 1911A1
- an Inglis made BHP
- HK P7M8/13
- gen 1 Glock 17
- Walther PPK
- Sig P210
- Bren Ten

Damn...no S&Ws....need a top 20..

It's Christmas!! ... Die Hard!

I do agree though! I finally acquired a 92fs after far too long. I cast my 9mm and powder coat, but I've had pistols that dent the round on the feed ramp. The way the Beretta slams the round straight home is going to be very beneficial for my home made bullets :)

Well I would break it down like this.....

1911 a must have
Metal frame wonder 9 (bhp, cz, Beretta etc)
Polymer gun (glock, m&p, h&k, etc)
Wheel gun (ruger, s&w, colt, alpha etc)
22lr (rugers, browning, wheel guns, whatever)
Then we all need that piece of jewelry that we love to look at. (Sig 210, high end 1911, collector SAA, collector Colt wheel gun, War Era collectable etc whatever floats your boat)
Then you need to have that one gun your just trying out to see if you "like it"


So really as I see it we all need at LEAST 7 handguns at anyone time.

That's about what I'm thinking right now. My list is a little more specific but looks like this:

1911 (in.45)
Full sized Glock
Revolver (S&W or Colt Python)
CZ-75 (in some variation)
SIG (P22x)
Beretta 92fs
SIG P210
SIG P22x
HK P7

Trying not to go into specific models I will espouse that a shooter should have, at least, two 22 LR handguns one a revolver and the other an autoloader. One or more medium framed 38 Special or 357 Magnum revolver, single or double action. Something in the 1911 format, be it 9mm, 45ACP, or 38 Super, full size or commander. A large bore revolver would also be nice. Adjustable sights would be nice but not mandatory.
 
My interests lie more with older guns so my list would include guns like....

1911
S&W HE 2nd model
Colt New Service
P-08 Luger
Webley MKVI
S&W Registered Magnum
Belgian made BHP (probably a T series)
S&W K-38 Target Masterpiece

Nobody should have anything they don't want. Perhaps a Glock, e.g. a 17 is something that should be on the list of things to try if you get the chance, things you should invite the curious to try if you have it. I'd put my Browning HiPower is on that list, it's the only semi-auto I care to own, having a sentimental attachment to it but generally preferring revolvers.
