I've been trying to sift through our sponsors and other dealers and have had a rough time finding war time tokarevs with no import export markings. I used the search function to look for discussions on who were the last to carry them and it appears Lever Arms doesnt have them on their website anymore. Most vendors now sell them with hideous laser etched markings...

I am willing to pay a bit more for what I want as I must satisfy the milsurp collector in me...factory non forced matching..unissued preferred yada yada...

Does anyone have the scoop on them at the moment?

If this is not possible at the moment, perhaps someone can tell me what a fair price is for an unissued Polish Tokarev?

Thanks in advance CGNers!! Cheers 👍

The only place you're going to find non-refurbished examples is the EE, gun shows and other private sales. Auctions, et al.

I picked up a beautiful unissued, non refurb 1947 from wolverine about 3 years ago. I think they have dried up for now. I cry at all the export marked pre war tt33s flowing in now. Just destroyed by that billboard

Hopefully they have some still, I bought a super clean post war TT-33 awhile back. All numbers matching and near mint condition, mags had matching serial numbers and the barrel was mirror bright and crisp as hell.

Yes, they had a few original matching nonrefurb examples. Most seemed to be made in 1952, unsurprisingly. My 1952 from them has some holster wear though, definitely issued. I will say though, most of the ones they labeled nonrefurb were light refurbs with minor part replacements.

TradeEx also had quite a few. I got my 1950 from them. It also has holster wear though.

Locating nonrefurbished example of TT-33 is hard task. Nobody wants to bother making good pictures of "just a $200 gun". Not to mention pictures of serials and other markings. Most ppl won't tell the difference between original or refurb finish, between force-matched magazine or factory matching matching one. Good luck with the search.
