Voere rifles - info wanted

Does anybody have any information on the value of VOERE Rifles? I got a 308 in trade last year and I can't seem to find much on them. I emailed VOERE directly and they replied telling me the rifle was originally sold in 1970. Its in excellent shape, I was just wondering what the value would be.

I have two voere rifles , one is a Kufstein made in Austria it is a very good hunting rifle with the mauser type bolt and extractor , this one has a butter knife style bolt and a full stock . To me it is as valuable as any of the same style ( CZ, kimber, old style winchesters etc ) fit and finish as well as blueing is better than I see on most under $1000 or better . Keep in mind I said " to me "

The other is a voehrenbach made in Germany, this one has a bolt and style like a weatherby mark V and the quality seems every bit as good . I don't know why these rifles don't have more of a following . Again "to me " they seem undervalued

I like the voehrenbach better , but can't say why , they both shoot and feel great "to me"
I wouldn't sell either of mine for what is posted here - compare what new guns you can get for these prices

It's hard to find info on these , seems to be many variations and not to many of each out there , I've had mine 10years and 5 years and haven't found more info than the first Google had for me especially the voehrenbach

Voere has an interesting history and if you dig around on the internet enough you will find what you are looking for. From what I have found is that their was two Voere companies. One German and one Austrian.
The Austrian used the Mauser action and was a decent rifle. 2150, 2155, 2165, Cougar were some of the models.
The German rifles were the suppliers of K-14 and K-15 Kleingunthers. These rifles are deep blue and highly polished very well made rifles. These were also sold elsewhere but I do not know the model names/numbers.
I've had a few Austrian made rifles and they are fine utility rifle. I have one German made rifle and although I never shoot it I keep it in the safe as it looks to be one of the best made rifles I've ever had.
Post a picture, is there a model number on it?
I also agree with Keithjohn, as the German made ones are undervalued.

I have a German made Voere Shikar in 7X64 Brenneke- fantastic trigger and butter smooth three lug bolt action with a stock made by Sile.:redface:
A real joy to shoot.

Come on guys, without some pictures or other identifiers it is all speculation, Right.
Generally more is needed to offer more precise information and then it also adds to the drool factor for those who like said rifles too.
Guess my attempt at humor was lost in the Christmas Eggnog.

In early 70s I bought my first new rifle, a Voere 270. Had case separation so took it back to Lock&Key in Red Deer. Emil checked it and a no go gadge closed on it. I would have the chamber checked. In 45 yrs. I have not bought another. This is not normal and most claim good accuracy and there is no doubt

about fit & finish. I would value them about the same as a 700 from that year, $600-700. Again condition is everything.

Dont try applying logic here buddy. Sure Voere rifles range from cheap rebuilds on war time K98 actions to amazing 100% new guns, and pics would help determine what we are talking about, but speculation is more fun...
 
I have a tiny single shot bolt action .22lr Voere that's been around the cottage for at least 40 years. Its missing the front sight. I've been wondering what its worth as well. I will never use it so was thinking bout selling it. Although it was the first rifle I ever shot, so dunno.
 
I have dealt with Voere (Austria) and can tell you from first hand experience that their service is outstanding. Extremely responsive and they have the best factory warranty I have experienced. To be fair I have similar excellent service directly from the Remington factory when I dealt with them in New York state. You can be very confident in any purchase you make that the Voere (Austrian) firm is behind!
 
Here is a pic of my unfired Titian II in .308. It's the centre rifle. It needs a new butt pad due to dry cracking.

The value of these rifles is somewhat of a mystery. The Texas rifles have a high value and the others may have ridden in their coat tails. I have read that the .308's are the rarest to find. I see on Gunbroker in the US that there are two 7 mag's at $1000+USD, will they get that? The people who own then seem to swear by them. I know mine's a beauty, thats why I had to have it.

I found a Veore titan ii with a swarvoski 3-9x40 in .300 weatherby mag. Seller wants $2600. Its a super nice gun in excellent shape. The scope is about 8 years. Gun in the 20s. Dont know much about this brand. Is $1800 a good asking price for the rifle? He said $800 for the scope.
