This picture is of the 556/223 model converted into a short rifle - the model we are selling has not been converted. The model pictured is a side charged firearm - the firearm listed for $1036.09 is standard (T handle) charged. The side charged model sells for $1239.54.

It actually makes a ton of sense to chamber AR pistols in .50 Beowulf because it overcomes the ballistic disadvantages of .223 in a short barrel.

Hah, 10 rounders Beowulf magazine, the bogeyman of firearms.

Would be fun, but after a wave of hearth attack and seizures at the rcmp lab, our "friends" in Ottawa will change the law. Will be fun while it lasts though.

Because it's using standard AR mags which have to be pinned at 5. If this came with LAR mags those could be 10. Mags have to be designed for the pistol version specifically to be 10 rounders.

Agreed - I'm well aware of the regulations. My question was why include a standard AR mag and not a 10 round LAR pistol magazine? I'm just curious.

American factories don't build to suit canadian law. In the US most states don't limit magazines so the mags upon import to Canada are pinned to suit canadian law.
