The 30-30 club, are you in?

I have my father 94 in 30-30 that I have completely restored. It was totally beat to hell from its' relentless killing years. I also have a shiny 94AE with a Leopold 2-7x33. It is almost to nice to beat up,..but both are planned to be passed down to my son.

I will probably get scolded for having ever purchased one but here is mine a Mossberg 464 with an old Redfield 1-4x . I know people tend to speak badly about them but it shoots straight and I have never had one issue with it. In fact I will be carrying it in the bush this weekend.

No scolding from my end mate. 464's are decently made & accurate rifles & with a bit of trigger tuning make a good gun better.:)

The only 30-30 I have (for now) is my old savage 340C. Very plain and basic rifle but works very well. It is my training rifle for the kids.
Ran out of kids......what do I do with it now?

Ya I have a Winchester Trapper 30-30 , A Marlin 30-30 DOM 1974. and a (1953) Winchester Model 64 in 30-30. and have owned many more!
Know your limitations with it and it will do you well!

The diff in todays world is when I first started hunting 40 years ago, there was a lot of bush in the area where I hunted! Now its open field. No bush
for 1/2 section's in spots. So a guy has went to a bolt action with a little more range! for the longer shots! But I find myself still take out the 30-30
just maybe make it count.

I have two, pre and post 64 model 94's.
Love them both. The post 64 was my first rifle, bought it of my grandfather and he won it in a raffle at the Lindsay fair. The pre 64 is my dads, the stories it could tell.

Added another 30-30 this year, a CIL 830. This is my second time around with a bolt action CIL.
