The 30-30 club, are you in?

My first deer was taken with an old 336 that was handed down to me and both my kids and my wife took their first with the same riffle. It's been hunted by 4 generations now and hoping for 5

Waiting for the quality of the new Marlin 336s to get better.
As I head toward old age and my eyes get dimmer I'm eventually going to need a rifle I can scope.
The last 3336C I looked over was a Epps last year and it had 2-dimensional pressed checkering that looked like it was painted on.
What happened to Marlins pride in product?
The old Win94 with the original sights still gets the job done.

I only have the one lever 30-30... Lol and it's not a very good representation of the cartridge. A grey laminate Mossberg 464 marinecote. I like it though :)

Sears model 54 (Win 94) with Williams 5D peep sight and a Schmidt Rubin model 89 in .30-30. I have a Lyman 311041 mould that I cast some 170gr GCFP with this week that I will be using in the Sears soon.

Stevens 325 30 30
desperately needs a Limbsaver
those federal 170gr and bakelite buttplate make it the hardest kicking rifle I own,way worse than 30 06 imho

Lets see if this works

I sold off all my 30-30's including the reloading equipment about 5 years ago, but broke down and bought another one as part of an H&R single-shot set. I have used the 20ga barrel a couple times for northern grouse, but have yet to fire the rifle barrel. Just a Handy Combo to have. WK

I owned a Savage 340b and an old beater '94, sold both many years ago, for nostalgia sake I'd like to pick up a model 219 (?) only because my Dad said he had one back in the forties, but had to sell it. It was a plain jane single shot, hopefully one day I'll be able to afford one :)

I've got 3 Winchesters and a Marlin but I've never hunted with any of them.

They were all donations. I have receiver sights on one Winchester and the Marlin.

They shoot pretty darn good with those sights on.

Marlin 30/30
My father gave it to me. Made in 1961, same as me

Cabinet queen, don't plan to hunt with it but every time I think about selling and pull it out it balances so nice....I end up deciding to keep it.

I just got my latest 30-30 yesterday from my favorite gun store/coffee & shoot de shyte place. It's been 40 years now since having one of these commemorative Win 94's and this one is unfired, but not fer long. Pimpy lookin' these be to some folks, but these were good shooting & nicely made. This RCMP Centennial musket is gonna consume a fair pile of lead.:)
