I chrono'd some of my surplus at 1500fps out of my tt-33 so I imagine out of a 16" barrel it might get 1800 fps. Add some soft point ammo to that combo and a small semi auto carbine would be a nice light survival rig.

What a bout the potential for dual caliber with 7.62x25mm whisper... They come in some pretty heavy grain (170 ish?) for subsonic performance.

How about an AR-7 in 7.62x25mm? Using tokarev mags, floats, fits in my snowmobile cubby. I'd be in.

I like how Gotrek thinks. 7.62 Tok in a carbine would be fun-fun' plus, with a barrel swap and it could be 9mmP !

I don't know if he got it from you but a friend of mine, his NP22 frame cracked after a few thousand rounds. He had bought it new, I just don't know from where.

Will the Sig P226 e2 grips work on this pistol? I've always wanted something in 7.62x25!

Bumpity bump. Has anyone tried this? It appears that regular Sig grips work perfectly fine, though they are biased rearwards a fair bit. Does the E2 upgrade kit fit?

Regular grips as posted on page 7:

This gun not easy to shoot , need a lot of tune up .

Consider a Nord 1911 or G 20.

put the factory one back on???

This pistol is particularly thick. The original grips are thick. The two make for a very comfortable pistol for those with big hands however I can see how some with smaller hands would find it too big. I think Blastattack is wanting to reduce the grip size so putting the originals back on wouldn't help him.

The HP and 1911 are too small to handle the cartridge unless redesigned as the 226 was for the P762

The factory is booked until further notice, so no more P762 until then, sorry

Do you have a wait list that I could get on to be notified when they become available again?

Do you have a Canam account ?
Just put it in your wish list & you will be notified when or if they ever come in
CanAm removed a bunch of stuff from their site a little while ago - items that were out of stock and not going to be back in stock any time soon. The P762 was one of them, so no way for someone to add it to their wishlist now.

Try using both hands wrapped around the grip?

The issue is that it is not just me shooting it. In fact, I will be the one shooting it the least. I'm part of a university shooting club, and this thing is to replace the Tokarevs we were using. We have a fair number of females that come shooting, and a smaller grip would help them a bit.
