Last week I bought a NIB norc m14, a late Xmas gift to myself,
. I'll make it clear that it's going back to the store and I'm not firing it anymore. The guns been properly cleaned of it's packing oil and greased. So hear it is: I took it to the range for the first time yesterday, the first 10 rounds it seemed to function perfectly. No issues at all. I fired another round, and held the trigger back. As I released the trigger, the rifle fired again. At first I thought that maybe I had jerked the trigger, until I took another intentional shot, held the trigger back and the same thing happens. So I ceased fire, cleared the gun. So with an empty gun, I can pull the trigger, hold it back, run the action, and when I release the trigger the hammer falls again. I have total confidence that the dealer will take care of the issue, but I wanted to post here to get opinions from those more experienced with these guns. The serial number starts P14, does that means it's a 2014 production?
