They just posted this new picture on FB. Can't wait to see the final product. Im still on the fence about owning one of these if they ever get NR status.

If these go NR, and they work properly, I'll end up getting one at some point. I've always wanted an AR-10 type hunting rifle.

Yup this is definitely a wait until people have done reviews before buying. Specially with the types of mags that will work properly.

.....and why would these be non-restricted?

This rifle is based off the AR10. The AR10 predates the AR15. Therefore the AR10 cannot be a variant of the AR15 as it currently is listed as. That is what NEA is arguing with the RCMP about.

NEA might have a legitimate argument. Wether they can convince anyone to change the AR10's classification is were the non restricted claim is coming from.

There will either be a great cheer or the sound of massive disappointment when the final verdict is revealed.

My guess would be that they have "known" what it will be with a degree of certainty but don't want to get the hype train going too fast on the slim chance they get some cow patties from the lab and they make it restricted.

They seem pretty confident that it should be classed as a NR . As long as they run well with a suggested price of aprox $1500 ...no brainer there I am in !

The lab has already agreed with them and determined the armalite ar102 non restricted.
