NEW BUSHNELL DMR IIs!?!?!?!?

Looks like the website is under construction but the scope looks to have the following improvements:
- Throw lever
- 10 mil turrets
- Shorter turret height
- Zero stop
- Option for an illuminated reticle
- Everything else seems unchanged

The G3 reticle is new as well.
 
I have a LRHS and I think it's a fantastic scope. I was hoping Bushnell would apply it's features to the 6500 6-24x50. A 1500$ scope with zero stop, FFP, 10 mil turrets and decent glass would be a great buy. It would be way ahead of the PST line and no one else to my knowledge would have anything comparable in the price-point.
 
I love my HDMR and have a precision rifle looking for a new scope, so colour me interested. But the talk of making a scope obsolete is a bit premature. It makes me wonder how we all get hits on targets today.
 
Obsolete is a relative term. Yeah as an example I'd say that a scope with mis-matched reticle and turrets (mildot with MOA turrets) is obsolete and wouldn't be as fun and useful to use, but I honestly regret having sold a scope like that in the past, because it was still a good scope and I could have used it for one of my less important rifles.

If you believe the marketing propaganda machine. Consumers are constantly being told your stuff isn't good enough. Personally I stopped listening to their crap years ago.. If you think your ERS is obsolete you need to give your head a shake.

I have the 3-12 LRHS and agree its a great scope. This new DMR should be very nice.

I wouldn't worry too much about your older scopes becoming obsolete as plenty of fantastic groups have been shot and trophy animals taken with "old" scopes.........

They have a lifetime warranty and will replace with a new model if they don't have the right part - so obsolete???
