Which handgun to buy out of this list?

Thanks for all the responses. Good feedback. I probably do have to go to the store to feel it out since my hands are quite small and some arthritis doesnt help it lol. The issue is the only gun store even remotely close to me is normally sold out of most of these choices. Or they sell out immediatley because of preorder. Too bad i cant buy them and return them for full refund after holding them and playing with them lol.

Which out of all of them can be made the smallest? and shortest distance from palm to trigger finger

M&P is the best value out of that list.

I've seen Gen 3 Glocks for $450 here and at most $499 and $500-539 for a Gen 4.

PPQ and VP9 are both more expensive than a Glock here as well.

Not saying Glocks aren't great guns but they definitely aren't worth more than a PPQ or a VP9.

Check out an FNS9 if you can find one. They are by far the best deal on the handgun market right now. I got one with night sights for $399 down here.

Have you thought about cz shadows?

I have relatively small hands (size medium) and well the cz fits me like a glove. Has to be my favorite gun, it just has that solid feel. Considering its a range gun, why not go with a steel framed one. That being said I do also have a Glock 26 for conceal carry when in USA.

A very good choice IMHO I went that way after the Glock.. never disappointed

Based on reviews and my research - HK VP9 SFP9-SF. But! there are some new pistols coming out that you may want to include on your list. CZ and S&W websites got the info.

Personally I think every single person needs to own a 1911 in 45 Auto. I have smaller hands too and have a Kimber 1911 and it fits great. Absolutely love shooting that gun.

Of the others, I'd try to get to a store that has them all in stock so that you can hold one right after the other to see which you like the feel of best. I went down to the states to do the same thing. I held the Springfield, M&P, Glock 17 and the HK SFP9. To me, the SFP9 probably felt the best of them all but you may be different. I've been reading lots of great reviews on the SFP9 as well so I don't think you could go wrong if that's the one you chose.

I would buy used from the EE and try one by one over 6 months until you find the one you like. I saw an M&P range kit with 4 mags never fired for sale here last week for $500 shipped. You can buy it try it and sell it and break even if you don't like it and move on to the next one. I've owned all on your list except the walther. I hear good things about the walther. The Glocks naturally point high in my hands like a lot of people. I love my Glock 19 mainly for its size.Out of the other 4 I would choose the sfp9. Grip is very adjustable and racking is not hard. HK built in two small protrusions towards the back of the slide that prevent your hand front slipping when racking. I would say it was designed for military/police to make one handed manipulation easier during stoppages or reloading.
As for having a hard time racking you should use the overhand c grasp. Makes racking easier and it's a good habit to get into in case you ever are in a high stress shooting situation.

Definitely the glock, for infinite reasons that have been explained in so many threads on so many website.
Second up, id go with the VP9, just because HK thinks you suck and they hate you, doesn't mean they don't crank out good product. Only downfall to this is the price of magazines is atrocious compared to say the glock.
The m&p is a solid gun, but if we're comparing stock versions, I can't stand that mushy trigger and that's why it's third IMO.
Why spend the extra coin on a 1911? They cost more, and the price of 45 is horrid unless you're reloading. I just don't see many advantages to owning one over other offerings. Yes I do own a 1911, and no JMB isn't going to rise from the dead and come after me for saying that.
Last but not least, the walther. F**k walther because I've never shot one that didn't feel like a cheap piece of crap. This is entirely opinion and very little factual information but such is the internet.

Where do you live? Maybe some local 'nutter can let you try a few! I know my local IDPA group let's newbies try ours, especially if they're decent enough to bring a few buck for ammo!

+1 on list your location: Still not sure why folks don't list their location, if necessary put on tin hat first.
Get to the range, bring factory ammo, most folks will let you try their handguns when you ask nicely.
