Where have all the milsurps gone?

I'm staying with the mind set that the high prices of milsurps are like the real estate bubble, at some point its gotta pop. Lol I know its only up from here. If you new shooters would stop paying the ridiculous prices. They might come down. Lol

The jump in prices for the K-31, from $350 to $800, is spooky....remember what happened to the $200 Breda Garands?

x2 on the K31 price increase. I was looking at them last year for around $400 or so...now it's ridiculously pricey to get into that platform. I think there's a couple listed right now for $900...???

Do you guys think the k31 increase is partially due to availability of ammo now? I remember the first time I saw the k31 it was a buddies, he paid around $250. But he reloaded for it because ammo was impossible to find. Brass wasn't easy to find either. Now I see ammo for it a fair bit. He just traded that rifle for another in the $900 value range. Crazy!

Im not paying 900 for an m39 or 600 for a k31 or 600 for an m48..... I'll pay top dollar for good wwII collectibles though

I can definitely see where you're coming from on the K31 and M48 but how is an M39 not a good WW2 collectible?

Did you sell yours yet?
Just because one person paid $800, doesn't indicate fair market value...

He had two offers to take it in several seconds. Personally I have just accepted a counter offer, and am waiting for the individual to get back to me. Once it is sold completely I will share the price.

This last batch of M39 from US has ugly US import markings. With M39s imported directly from Finland who would buy this? I mean if collector has to chose M39 with import markings or without - what would he buy?

Congrats on the sale. I was keeping an eye on your ad to see how long until someone bought it. Nice looking rifle, with a nice price tag on it as well.

Buyer backed out at 750$ shipped, if I had accepted yesterday it would have sold. Oh well, half the reason I even put this rifle for sale is to see what people are buying them for as they are generally selling to quick to get a good assessment of price. Guess I shall just keep bumping it with a slight reduction in price until it sells.

Corwin has some Enfields up the last couple months too. Has anyone here bought any? I haven't seen any discussion about them at all. If they came up from the US do they have the same markings that batch of M39's came with?
The M48's are going fast!

Edit - I almost bought one of the Enfields until I noticed the DP...
