Canadian Armed Forces looking to retire BHP by 2026

According to Canadian Forces or the National Post the Special Forces Sig 226 is not in production anymore and parts are hard to obtain......really.

The first order of the day is to find some way of directing the money for the pistols to a Liberal MP either retired or still elected who will skim off 10% for himself before passing the contract along to a Quebec based company who will in turn.....
......meanwhile back at Army HQ they will be huddled around a table trying to find some excuse to put our troops in harms way to meet Trudeau's pledge to cast flowers upon the waters and task our Army into baby sitters for local despots around the world armed with the least amount of equipment money can buy.

The seeds for throwing the Liberals to the curb have been sown.

The article says the Sig Sauer P225 is out of production, rather than the P226. The P225 was discontinued and a new P225A1 model has recently been introduced, but I couldn't say how much parts commonality it has with the legacy P225.

this! how does a average Joe from Swininigan, Bay Comeau maybe Don Mills, enter politics as middle class ####
and retire from politics a millioinaire? Any thoughts?...Bueller?...Bueller?

This is sad, but true.

Also, the fat cat civis that work in the project office will delay the project as long as possible IOT have a steady pay cheque. The second they enter into definition phase and award a contract, the gravy train runs out for the civis working on the project and they have to go out and find another job.

What is really sad is that the supply of historic Inglis Hi-Powers will be ordered destroyed by the DND.

Nicely said, sir.

Thank you.

Perhaps its time to get some. They have been proven for over a century, that should say something about them.

Says they are an old design. Not said, heavy and expensive to produce.

Beretta M9 is lighter, less expensive to produce, with a much more current proven track record for reliability and with extensive combat use.
