Finally cleaned my Glock! (and color filled it)

that was the exact reason i picked up the 19 as i found the 17 just a touch too big in the hand.
the 19 is way more comfortable thats for sure!
i kinda want to try one of the SF frame Glocks to see if that is yet another step more comfortable.
do they even make a G19SF ??

There is no G19 SF. SF applies to the Large Frame Gen3 pistols (G20/21) primarily. The Gen4 did away with the SF, by reducing the overall frame size to the SF form factor and adding the backstraps to increase the size as needed.

I used nail polish remover but it was slow, Citrol worked faster and easier. No damage to the slide on any way shape or form. The Glock finish is quite durable.

It's part of what keeps me from dropping money down on a Shadow 2. Not saying it won't happen anyways, but the gigantic 2 on the side and the grips make me cringe.
 
FWIW, I've added colour to my Glocks using crayons......a myriad of colours and shades to choose from and it's easy to take off. The only caveat is you may have to reapply it from time to time

Skip the crayons. Try nail polish or model paint instead. Lasts much longer and doesn't rub off as easily.

My M305 now proudly displays "MADE IN CHINA" in bright white lettering:rolleyes:

On the ++ side.... I can now read the rear sight windage and elevation markings.

Never knew that sight was calibrated for 1200 m (yds?). Wish full thinking IMHO.

Thanks for this - I put to use some nail polish and now have the dots on my 1911 sights.

i did the exact same with my M305 - makes a world of difference when you can actually see the markings on the sights!
unfortunately i also cleaned and oiled my rear sight and now it moves far too freely.
i think im gonna have to put some thick grease in it to slow it down.... a light wind will pretty much turn the dial now.
