yes... I expect that rifle will be a sleeper. Will be a very tough decision whether to buy that or spend twice the money for a 'Scout'. I am inclined to think a guy with $2500 burning a hole in his pocket would be far better off buying 2 of these new prohunters than one Scout.

Scout is a different philosophy. Has buis and built in bipod into its stock. And weighs iirc around 2lbs less than this gun. Completely different roles. It has a definite place in the lineup. If they did a 16inch version of either it would be better still but a 16 inch prohunter tac would be an excellent le sniper platform.
