Cougar Hunt

I am from Nova Scotia and looking to hunt a cougar. I am fascinated by big cats and am currently saving for an African big cat hunt. In the meantime I am looking to take a cougar but as they are said to be "extinct in Nova Scotia" I am looking for somewhere where a non resident can take one. If anyone has any recommendations I would gladly take them in.
 
BC and Alberta both have non resident cougar hunts......

While I ever was the trigger man myself on a hunt, I did get a chance to experience it in BC on a successful hunt....

I can vouch for double diamond outfitters in Alberta as a good outfitter (I took my mule deer with them and plan to go back for antelope), and they offer cougar hunts as well......

If you plan come to Alberta, join the Alberta forum. There are always threads discussing the best outfitters for big cats - not all are created equally.
 
If you don't mind go into the states cougar hunts in Idaho are reasonably priced when our dollar is doing alright. Never done it myself but it's on my list!

How is being fascinated by big cats not realistic? Some people are interested in dinosaurs, been extinct for millions of years will never see one. Some with the planted and space but will never get to go. I am not justinterested in hunting them I have always enjoyed them and how they hunt live and survive. Interesting animals

When you're here (Alberta) hunting cougars, swing by the royal tyrell museum - one of the best "dinosaur" displays in the world. ;)
