Home made case lube

I've been watching a lot of reloading videos on YouTube and I notice that a lot of people make their own case lube. A popular combination seems to be lanolin and Heet, but I'm having trouble figuring out where to buy these things. I've tried Shoppers Drug Mart and Walmart for the lanolin, Canadian Tire and Home Depot for the Heet, and nothing. Prices on Amazon are ridiculously high.

Do any of you make your own case lube? If so, what components do you use and where do you get them? What's a good price to pay?

I picked up my liquid lanolin at a local health food store. Cheaper then Amazon with shipping. Mind you I then spent a bit on a spray bottle lid for a mason jar.
 
Over the years I think I've tried'em all. The best I've ever used is Imperial Sizing Die Wax. Somewhat pricey but a little goes a L o n g way. Started using it for case forming initially. As a #2 choice and a little more reasonably priced is a product put out by Hornady called Unique Case Lube.
 
The liquid lanolin might seem spendy, but... One little bottle makes enough lube for tens of thousands of cases.
It's far more economical than ANY commercially available product.

Guess I scored on the lanolin $10 shipped. I use isopropyl from WalMart. $5. As others have stated that lanolin will last a very long time.

I agree but I find it time consuming to apply it to each case. Although because I wipe it on each case, gives me the chance to see and feel for any case imperfections and can discard junk cases if need be. Can be slow process to apply though. To remove I just toss in tumbler for 1/2 hr
