9mm AR gun #### (ok lets see them)

Barrel length is only relevant to accuracy by how it effects the bullets ballistics, and barrel harmonics by how hard it's driven. Therefore it can be as accurate as 20" barrel, in fact likely easier to tune a load to it due to the short barrel being stiffer.

Exactly,
I built a 6.5 inch AR (223) a couple years ago with a quality stainless barrel that would shoot 2 moa at 100 yards with quality ammo. Velocity suffered so distance turned into a lob it in game but up close it was great.

Not on mine, though QC10 sent me parts they said would remedy that, the glock mags can insert on a closed bolt so it's not high on my priority list

I tried many different OEM Glock mags, 17, 19 mags and even the new Magpul GL9 mags.....Then I got some ETS clear high capacity mags that are pinned to 10...I have a 32 rounder and a 22 rounder pinned to 10, and both make the BHO work every time...Never works with any of my OEM GLock mags but those 2 ETS mags work every time

QC10 first said I put it together wrong, but I showed them how it was and they said it was correct......They bounced a few ideas off me but none of them worked.
ETS mags work so thats what I use in that lower

Nice!

I've been waiting for them to release their high cap. G22 mags before I purchase, but I might have to give them a try!

QC10 Glock lower, the KCI mag shown in this photo doesn't work with this lower, the mag catch doesn't catch at all. the Magpul ones works flawlessly.

Did you get the upgraded mag stop from them?i had some issues with mags not seating properly and they sent me the newest part and now it's perfect with all my mags, kci imcludes

I havent but I can see that helping, when I was playing with it, I could sometimes make the BHO work with a regular GLOCK mag if I put upward pressure on the mag into the lower hard while firing it would catch every now and then.

The ETS mags work every time without doing anything, and they look cool so I dont mind having to use them with this gun. I'll just grab some more when they are back in stock, they were fairly cheap....

IMO it has to do with the mag follower/spring. The ETS either has a taller mag follower, a stiffer mag spring, or a combination of both making it activate the BHO where the OEM Glock mags wont....Being a pinned hi cap mag also, could be adding to spring stiffness as the spring catches on the rivet/pin forcing it to compress near the top instead of at the bottom of the mag....Im done trying to figure out how or why LOL I just know they work so Im gonna use em

I sent them an Email telling them ETS work, surprised they are not suggesting that to others with the same issue. Kinda not impressed with their customer service in the sense they would never really admit there is a BHO problem, instead it was always you did this wrong or are using cheap mags etc......Clearly I am not the only one experiencing the BHO not working right out of the box

Taking it apart to mess with wouldn't be such a hassle if they didnt make their bolt catch pin hole so god damn tight! I am not sure if all of you have the same experience but I have built a few lowers so far, and theirs by far is the tightest pin fitment tolerance. IMO its too tight, and is so much harder then any of the other brand name lowers I have worked with so far

yeap, I had a hard time with mine, mine isn't all the way in decided to stop before mushroom the pin from pounding on it.

When they asked me to take it apart and make sure I put the pin and spring in properly, I had to order a new roll pin. same issue it needed so much of pounding to get it in or out, it starts to mushroom the end. I was so pissed, as if the first time wasnt hard enough, now they wanted me to pop it out and back in just to have a look at what Im sure I already did properly.

Next time I have it apart Im going to get the correct size reamer for that roll pin size and give it a little reaming by hand to see if it helps

One of the things I really like about the 2 other billet AR lowers I have (Seekins and Wilson combat) is the fact they replace the roll pin for the bolt catch with a machined pin. That threads into the lower....So much easier to work with
Would have been a good idea for QC10

Had the same issue with mine,I actually had to take a micro file and make the hole bigger to get the pin to work, after grinding down the pin.my aero m5 has the machined pin,and it's so much easier.

I thought mine was the only one like that because I havent heard anyone else complaining about it.

Yeah got serial number ca00002,which is the second one imported to canada(the first being prohibited due to it being "low shelf" and too easy to convert to full auto)so I thought it may have been an issue with my lower being early run production

Here's my Angstadt. FYI - Don't bother to try and put a Gieselle or a CMC trigger in one of these. The TriggerTech however runs just fine.
