Cz455 mags

So Opinions Please - i just purchased a CZ455 22WMR off a member on here and i need to buy a few mags for it - There are Steel mags or there are Polymer ones avail - Which is better or are they Equal in function and strenght ? Thxs RJ

I've never used a steel magazine for a CZ rimfire. I can say that the polymer mags work very well. It may be that the CZ's sold in Canada are only available with the polymer.

Like silverfoxdj, I use both in my 452s. Both kinds work but I prefer the plastic ones (lighter. no worries about rust)

Only problem with those CZ mags is the price. Usually $50. Cdn Tire MacLeod Tr in Calgary usually carry them.

Same here. I find the plastic 10 round mag is easier to load and less sharp on my fingers than my steel mags.

I just sold a cz452 22wmr when I got my cz455 and noticed that the mags were not interchangeable... the steel mags fit the 452 and the plastic ones fit the 455. Plastic 22lr mags appear to be the same though and work in both... I don't own any steel 22lr ones so can't comment on those.

I bought a few 5 and 10 round plastic mags from lever arms last week. Arrived very quickly.

This is indeed true. The 22lr mags interchange between the 452 and 455. The magnum mags are either for the 452 OR the 455 and do not interchange

I have both steel and plastic. Both are good but the plastic one in my hmr is tighter then the steel ones
