beowulf mags

I think I heard that they had to be pinned to 2 beowulf rounds so that it can only fit 5 223 rounds. I could be wron g though.

Any valid source on this is appreciated; other than that it's bland blanket statements like this that cause a lot of speculation and miss-information.
 
I was simply asking about where I can find them, didn't want to turn it into a debate on its legal status(I will take full responsibilities for my own actions).
however, I would suggest instead of reading random posts anywhere, you should go directly to RCMP website to read the English text yourself. In a nutshell, this has no difference than I put my 40S&W mag into my 9mm pistol which can load up 13 rounds reliably in most of my pistols. as rcmp said, the capacity is set for the magazine on the platform is designed to be used, NOT where is actually being used. don't take my words for it either. just check on RCMP site.

Hi Phat, what issues did/do you have with the PCV, GEN 1 or GEN 2? I heard mixed stories, but all youtube videos have been positives only which is strange. could you please share your experience? Thanks.
and bullseyelondon had whole bunch of PCV Gen 2, but sold out recently. never heard anything bad either. so, I am curious.

dont buy the plastic ones,if you can go metal/aluminum

as phateagle says LAR mags are really good.i use them and metal beowulf no problems
those PCV are junk IMHO
 
care to share some specifics on the bad of the PCV? Gen 1, 2 or both?

yup sure thing

i bought the Gen 2,fitted great in my SL8 but when you come to load over 10 rds in the mag,it starts to open up at the top.
this is because its made of plastic.
it still fitted and worked fine with 10rds but if you want those 'extra' rds buy the metal beowulf mags.
if you want reliability for 10 rds buy the LAR mags,they are great.
to be honest,i really use my beowulf as it sticks out too much below the magwell,i rather use LAR

honestly dont waste you cash on the PCV
