I'm wondering if anyone else has tried these 143 ELDX bullets out of their 6.5-300 wby? I tried them today with US869 88.5 grains seamed to be about max in my rifle.They seamed to hover around 1 MOA haven't chronographed them yet.Does anyone have a pet load with theses yet?

I think that you're correct about 88.5 grs of US869 being at or near a Max Load, but you really need to chrony it to be sure.
I don't have a 6.5-300 Wby, but I do have a 6.5- 300 Win Mag (a slightly smaller case) and my max with 140 gr bullets and US869 is 83.0 grs (a near full case) giving 3290 fps from a 24" barrel. Load data for the 26 Nosler (about the same size as the 6.5-300 Wby) for 140 gr bullets lists 88.0 grs for 3250 fps.
The 6.5-300 Wby is an "old time" cartridge. I have load data from back in the day that lists 86.0 grs of H870 (a fair bit faster than US869) that gives an MV of almost 3400 fps with a 26" barrel. With US869 and 140 gr bullets, in the 6.5-300 Wby, if you are getting an MV over 3300 fps with a 26" barrel, I'd say you're surely over 60K psi, possibly over 65K psi in some guns.

I am very interested in seeing how it preforms.
What rifle is it? Custom built, length of barrel?
I have a custom 6.5 Sherman that shoots a 140 Berger at a touch over 3300 FPS.
I was thinking about screwing a 6.5 barrel onto a differnt rifle and chambering it to a 6.5-300 WBY. I was really hoping that there would be some better speeds out there from this caliber. Thought maybe with a 28 inch barrel and some more modren powders that are out there now that it would be more impressive than that.
Mine is a Weatherly MK V accumark R/C with a 26" barrel. I had good luck with 127 gr Barnes LRX using us 869 and fed 215 primers and an overall length of 3.554. I get 3600 fps and was getting 1/3 moa 3 shot groups at 300 yards. (the farthest I shot that load) I'm not a fan of Barnes bullets so I'm trying to find something in a lead core bullet that performs well. Probably going to try These eldx bullets again tomorrow

I would be very interested in seeing what some of these 6.5-300 Wby can do with heavier bullets before I build one. Do you have any 160 Matix to try in it??
Yes I know the barrels wont last, but they make new ones everyday.
I have a 257 stw and a 257 stw ackley improved. There is little gain in the improved as it really overbore to start with. But they sure get a 110 grn bullet sizzling.
Ive used the 257 why for the last 10 years and I prefer 110 grain accubonds they are doing 3480 out of my rifle. I don't have any 160 grain matrix bullets, might be something else to try. I plan on trying the 140 grain Berger hunting vlds too. Barrel life definitely isn't something I'm worried about. As you put it They make barrels every day

Hopefully differnent powder helps. Or maybe you got a slow barrel. I have one of those on my 7mm stw. I have had a 257wby for ever, my load for that is a 117gr Hornady BTSP, healthy load of R-22 at 3450 fps.
In my Sherman, basically a 270 case blow out and stuff, custom gun 27 1/2 inch barrel the 140 bergers are 3305 FPS i pushed them a little harder but backed them off now. I am using
R-26 in them now but have used N-570 with about the same results. I went with the R-26 as it meters better.
