Bullpup Pistol New Boberg

Those are neat guns. I'm not optimistic that they will make the longer barrelled version that would be legal in Canada, but I hope I'm wrong.

Length of slide has no bearing on concealed carry so there's no benfit to shortening the overall length. It's only about an inch shorter than other subcompacts and has a rather complex mechanism with lots of tiny parts. Any company who offers wood grips on a defensive pistol is clueless about it's intended role, same goes for a guy who talks about the BS of "second strike capability". Last but not least is the insane price of the pistol. A guy could acquire two pistols with holsters and ammo for less money. There's a reason Boberg is no more and is now part of Bond Arms.. Oh and I just realized with the E port so far back, how does a guy rack the slide or do an immediate action drill without covering the E port and inducing his own stoppage??

Smaller slide = more concealable and an option for Pocket carry. Which i do in both winter and summer.

To rack the slide you grab the serrations.

Probably better than the PPK:

Pocket carry is slow to draw from and again it's the grip that causes issues not the slide. With such a short barrel and bullpup-esque design your support hand thumb hangs dangerously close to the muzzle. I understand working the slide, what I don't see happening well is working the slide and clearing a stoppage as your hand is positioned atop the E port. Apparently failure to retract the slide completely results in a wicked stoppage where the slide is very tough to retract.

For a 1 inch gain in length and over 50% savings you could have a S&W shield which is a proven entity and easier to support. For the same extra inch and 50% savings you could have a Glock 43 as well.

What's slower, UN zipping two jacket or reaching into a coat pocket?

You must not cc all that much, I on the other hand cc every day of the week I'm in USA mostly in WA state.

I CC plenty but thanks for asking. If you need to undue two coats to access your firearm then your garment choice is flawed. CC is a lifestyle and you need to plan around it. Changing out your coat is a cheaper and easier solution than buying a different gun for every situation. Off body carry is a poor idea as well, best to use a holster attached to your person as the coat may not always be there.

I'm not even going to bother... how many times a year do you even conceal carry? What state is your permit from?

Majority of ppl in USA pocket carry when weather dips.

Majority of people have zero firearms training and shop at Walmart. Does that mean they're right??

I have got both Boberg's XR9 and a XR45. I like them, they are fun to shoot and surprisingly accurate. I would love to see Bond Arms version come to Canada.
