Sbe 3

They claim to have fixed the Benelli click on the SBE3, fiddled with the bolt lockup somehow. I still want to figure out what advantage it would have over a Super Vinci, without getting rid of the recoil spring.

please elaborate on the " benelli click" thanks
 
Sometimes the bolt doesn't fully lock up against the chamber if it's been bumped around or quietly loaded. It's basically user error. I own 5 Benellis and have never had it happen yet.
 
I can certainly replicate it with mine but it's never happened during a hunting/shooting situation. Leaving the safety on is a far worse problem for me,
 
Is the sbe3 really just an ethos in disguise? Nex stock, other then that after researching it and watching a few videos it seems like they are one in the same just the sbe3 has a different stock.
 
I am new to the SBE2 having shot browning gold and extrema 2 the last 15 years but I like it.it points quick is light and have had some of my best duck and goose shoots in the last 10 years,I bought it on advice from an old duck hunter who has killed more than I ever will,have to agree don't think it could be improved upon but am open to see...

I think you're right, just get rid of the carbon fiber off the ethos and you have a sbe3
 
Just got a SBE2 off the EE, nicer looking gun and it fits me very well. The bigger bolt handle and bolt release are nice on the SBE3, but you can buy those for the SBE2 if you are super concerned.
 
changes to the SBE series

We've been told "June-ish" by the importer for the SBE3 shotguns.

Beyond the look of the gun, the primary changes seem to be that it's a bit lighter, the loading port is a bit bigger, and the bolt was improved. The trigger guard was enlarged to allow for use of gloves in foul weather hunting. The Comfortech cheek piece is also a bit longer.

edit: Also it's supposed to come with a hardcase & extended chokes
