Howdy all.

Dont mean to cause a uproar or anything.

Currently I do not reload as the wife is scared of gun powder and thinks ill make the roof come off the house so im working on her slowly to hopefully get approval from the banker (wife) so I can set up.
Question is where is a good place to buy cheap factory loads for yotes, targets etc in 17Rem fireball, 22-250Rem, 257WBY, 7mmRM, 300RUM (yes 3 of 5 are large to shoot coyotes, and gophers but you cant beat target practice:)
Also who has a good slection of .257 bullets (say 120GRN if possible). Asking for a friend who wants to reload.

Gun powder is safer then gasoline or propane.
It's Black powder that's the tricky one. But it's still safer then gasoline or propane

I like your reply. I might just do that and deal with her later.

But guys your helpful suggestions are not answering my question. Where can I find cheap ammo.

You have a buddy who reloads, pick up some dies, components and a case of beer for your buddy. Go to his place and get him to give you some press time and a lesson.

The bottom line is there is no cheap ammo . and the next answer to your problem is to start reloading. please let the wife read my post - this right now. look sweet heart the so called gun powder your husband wants to reload with is'nt explosive . it's flammable and all you have be careful about is static. I have reloaded on and off since 1989. and I'm still alive.

your husband will be happy and it will save him a ton of money. buddy buy yourself a RCBS rock chucker press reloading kit your dies and powder and primers and bullets. and a book on reloading and if you have a buddy who has reloaded rifle rounds and he's competent at doing so have him walk you through the process.

and another important issue . make sure the woman in your life like's this guy your bringing in the house . we don't want to upset her anymore than we have to . the best of luck. ps tell her I said hi.
