Any Rem 783 Spare Magazines in Stock (308 Win)?

I was thinking about acquiring a couple spare magazines for my newly acquired rifle, can't seem to locate any in country that are IN STOCK. Anyone find any? I have the 22" barreled 308 so I'm assuming I need the Long Action .308 magazine.

I assumed that the 20" version was a short action and the 22" barreled version was the Long action?

Don't really know as this is my first bolt gun other than a Mosin Nagant/M48 Mauser.

They only make the one mag for 243/308 short action 783. Part #19522
In stock is another matter...I checked the usual spots with no luck.

Nope. Barre length has nothing to do with it. it's cartridge length.

You will likely have to order one at a gun shop.

Got one for short action at Cabelas in Saskatoon 2 weeks ago. Just got lucky I guess!

I be looking for a short action (308/243 mag as well. Any current leads?

My LGS seems to think that they are are $60 item plus 15% GST.
