Received my new Gen 2 in the mail last week. I have not taken it out to shoot yet. However, during dry-firing, I noticed that if I #### the hammer (by pulling the bolt handle all the way back) and then gently ease the bolt forward and pull the tigger, the gun will not fire. It will only fire if I let the bolt slam forward hard. I am wondering if any Gen 2 owners have similar issues.

I just got mine and have been slamming the bolt and it's functions perfectly. I ran 90 rounds of blazer brass through it.Trigger is gross and sights leave a little to be desired.

Mine function properly too if I slam the bolt, but would not fire if the bolt is eased forward slowly. Would you, or any other Sub 2000 Gen 2 owners, mind trying to ease the bolt forward slowly and see if yours would fire please?

Mine had a similar issue not firing consistently, I was super disappointed. With a ton of reading i couldn't find anything to help with this. After a bunch of searching i found a company called Mcarbo out of the USA, they made a trigger kit to lighten and crips the trigger pull. when it came in a tore the gun apart and found that the sear spring was not set properly. I put the new springs in and put it all back together. It functions really nice now, I don't know if that was the problem (although i assume it was) as i didn't try to reset it and put it together with the original.

More trigger problem uncovered. After cocking the hammer and even slaming the bolt back into battery hard, the gun will not fire if I put the safety on and then off before pulling the trigger. It takes a second pull on the trigger to fire. It appears the first trigger pull resets the trigger. The gun is going back for warranty repair.

I saw on the Kel-Tec Owners forum recently, a guy appeared to have a similar problem: "Had two instances where nothing happened when I pulled the trigger (no primer hits)."

Aw! That sucks man!!

I was gonna say that semi autos like it rough, after reading your first post... but the safety thing is strange.

Sorry to hear this!
