So after looking at videos from SHOT SHOW 2017, ive seen some really nice ar 15 with stock wed see on a shotgun, no pistol grip, no bolt release but still reliable and accurate like an ar. the lower is propriatary so we could possibly get it NR. But why is there no company in canada importing them ?!

Because an AR-15 is restricted by name.
There is no way in hell you will get a non-restricted AR-15.
I am not including the AR180B which has a polymer lower and is incompatible with standard AR uppers.

It works with AR uppers. It's an AR15 with a different grip. That alone won't cut it in getting to NR.

The California compliant ARs are regular AR-15s with modifications. Thus, they can't possibly be NR in Canada under our current laws. Why is this so hard for some people to grasp...? I don't like it any more than you do, but it is what it is. We tried and failed to change things.

If it accepts a standard AR upper it will be considered to be an AR. Even if it didn't realistically accept an AR upper the RCMP firearms lab will go to great dishonest lengths to lie and say it does in order to classify it as restricted. They screwed ATRS over in this fashion and won't hesitate to do it again to serve their agenda.

That should be a non restricted rifle in my opinion anyhow

All rifles should be non-restricted, there should be no such thing as classifications at all. The only thing holding us back is the millions of lefties who vote in lefty authoritarian governments who then step all over our freedoms. Not that the CPC were very useful in that regard, either. But the lefties have been far worse from a historical stand point.

Keltech RDB-C looks pretty cool for a non pistol grip, non restricted semi....

Whoa... I like that! Some will hate it, I love all kinds of fugly guns!

I have been reading The Expanse series by James SA Corey since its inception, and this looks like what a "recoiless rifle" might me like. I think I may have to do what it takes to own one, one day.

I don't think people will ever give up on their dreams of a NR AR15......Keep dreaming boys

Personally I like the wood stock, Id be interested in one even thou it is restricted

6.5mm Grendel in the Kel-tec would be interesting, a plausible deer rifle. The Jesse James is profoundly hideous.
Edit: The "Survival" model has a 16″ barrel, and 26.1 inch overall length, so about the same length as a Mare's leg, but you can fire it from the shoulder. In 6.5mm Grendel, that would be a great out in the woods rifle.

The reason people dream of an NR AR-15 is because that is what they were before C-68 came along and there is no reason they shouldn't be the same today.

It sure would be. Too bad it would be restricted based on barrel length, we would need a Kanadian version with the infamous 18.6" barrel to placate the firearms lab monkeys.

actually this one has a propriatary trigger system and lower and its stupid because the only restricted part on an ar is the lower. ####ing RCMP, i just dont understand them

It's very easy to understand them.

1) Since the lower in OP accepts standard AR uppers the RCMP lab will rule that it is an AR variant and therefore restricted.

2) They don't like civilians owning guns and use their position of authority to advance that agenda at every opportunity. They aren't interested in fairness, evenhanded application of our laws or even basic honesty, they are interested in disarming you. Basically it is enemy action, plain and simple.
