I am about to order an Aero Precision scope mount and wanted to see what the group here thinks about them. Searching the forum produced one thread on them in the last 3 years, so I am hoping more will share their experiences this time around.

This is the mount: http://www.brownells.com/optics-mou...d59805.aspx?avs|Manufacturer_1=AERO+PRECISION

Use is on a precision AR with a higher magnification scope. I will be mounting it and never taking it off if I can help it, so don't need quick detach or any other bells and whistles besides a quality, solid mount.

Thanks,
Mark

I had a few and had no issues. From my limited experience, they seem well made. A bit tricky to get the optic lined up though. As you torque the screws, the optic turns with it.
You have to play with it ,a bit ,to get it to line up.
They're very light as well.
Had them installed on .223,.308,7mm with no issues.

It's a scope mount. I've never seen one fail. Pick one of the 100 on the market with the features, price, and availability you want, then buy and use it.

I love mine so far. Can't speak to durability yet but it works well and is super light. As was mentioned, it is a pain to get your scope mounted as it will rotate as you tighten up the rings. Takes a bit of trial and error. Ordered mine from Saskatoon Gun Works.
