Hello All,

I am looking for a part that supposedly I cannot order from Wolverine Supplies. I need two of the securing screws (Part #54) used on the rear sight. They worked their way out of the sight during an IPSC match and I didn't notice until it was too late.

Can someone point me to a Canadian supplier for these parts or a good place to get them that's not a huge pain in the butt?

Thanks a million!

Scott

They should just be set screws. If you can find out the thread pitch you may be able to buy them at the hardware store.

A quick google search says the Shadow 1 used a M3x4mm with a 1.5mm allen key. Try calling CZ Custom and ask if they know the size.

Damn, good to know these work loose. Guess I'm going to loctite mine this weekend.

Worst case, hit up Acklands Grainger for part no. BBT533002

I asked specifically for these from CZ and was told they do not sell them seperately I am afraid. Only with the complete rear sight.

Yup I know you checked for me. Super weird I can't get an individually labelled part number though don't you think? I will try the size juancarlos & trinimon mentioned and just be real gentle spinning it in. I'm paranoid about messing up threads.

The set screws on my shadow2 work there way out also. In my opinion the set screws should be replaced under warranty since it is an assembly issue, CZ quality control should have caught this.

I lost one as well and I only put less than 500 rds through it since September when I received it. I will Contact Wolverine to see if this is covered under warranty. This really troubles me, as although the Shadow 2 is an amazing gun, if this was missed through quality control, I wonder what else was missed. Lets see what response I get back........

I just removed the screws on my S2. They were in pretty snug and had good friction when backing them out. I cleaned the oil off and blue loctite 'em anyways.

Just got mine today! Will be doing this tomorrow morning!

What did ya clean the oil off with? I'm thinking of just spraying am down with brake cleaner once removed, let dry, then blue loc and back in

We have sourced some screws, and should have them Friday. We'll do a post in our forum once they're received and ready.

Regards
Warren

I just wiped the screws and sight threads off with isopropyl alcohol.
