WTB ads are the worst ones for being targeted by fraudsters so the mods are probably making sure no one posted email addys directly in their ads and other preventative measures.

Those aren't the problem... it's the ones that put up fake WTT ads or write "WTB" in the title in the WTS section... the mods are busy and haven't been slapping infractions on those consistently.

I've had very good luck in the wtb section. Lots of guys check there before posting/don't post the gun for sale.

Yes, and got what I wanted on a couple occasions. Ads more recently have not produced the desired result. I think it worked better before the forums were separated, but understand the problems that admin is trying to alleviate.
