Inexpensive magazines: what happened?

Remember the good old days when KCI GLOCK magazines actually sold for less than OEM GLOCK magazines?


May I'm just looking in the wrong places, but is anyone aware of where the less-expensive pistol magazines (esp. for GLOCK) may be for sale?

Calgary shooting center has lots, so does tier one armory. Both have 17 & 19 sized mags.
Can't believe some are just hearing about these now.
Even questar has them on their site for you east coasters.

You do really have to shop around..I found GP Tactical pretty decent on magz- http://www.gptactical.com/en/products/c378146227/c378158751/p17682798.html The 17s are sold out, but they have some G19 & others.

Also to Note, Hical is the Most expensive on magz & Any accessories usually that Ive ever compared, & Ive compared many, Sometimes they are twice the price!

I finally gave in and resorted to a European seller on Gunbroker to get a spare mag for my Sig P210-2. I think I've bought handguns for less.
