95 Chilean Mauser Short Rifle

I was told that these rifles are hard to come by. Well I have one, the only thing is it doesn't have a matching bolt.

I'd say it's in better than fair condition.

Thoughts? If you want pics I can give em.

They seem to be hard to come by, and condition leaves something to be desired when they do turn up.

Trade-Ex had a bunch for sale about 3-4 years ago.

They tend not to show up much, however that being said demand is relatively small as well.

The 95's? I don't remember those, only the 98 action ones.

I agree. Unfortunately not a lot of serious collectors of these and other Mauser variants to make them valuable.

I remember looking at both the short and long model 1895 ones they had, same price for either and they had been converted to 7.62x51mm from 7x57mm.

I totally don't remember that. Perhaps the last of the non Russian milsurp shipments? Not sure I would've wanted the converted rifles anyway though.

This model was my very first milsurp I ever bought..

They're beautiful pieces, if in good condition...
