That's easy, my all matching (stock appears to be sanded but original) 1949 Tula
Now that's red as fck
Don't get me wrong I likes me sks's, just feels like I'm taking out a cavalier for a spin when I have Camaro and corvette sitting right beside it. They izz what they izz I suppose.

It would have to be my 41 Tula Svt40, very clean example. I got it from Martin at Corwin Arms, they were sold out online so I called him to see if there were any more available. He said he would sell me one from his own set aside rifles, it's got the nicest bore and it shoots accurate.
A close second is my 1934/48 double date MO stamped 91/30 hex receiver Mosin I got from Canam in their Mosin and a crate of x54r combo

The top one is my Red Russian that is more of a Blondie now....
The bottom one is Chinese sporting Red Russian wood.
I love the laminate stocks on these red rifles.
Is the bottom rifle a type 81?
Love them all. Have added some more since that pic. Also have come to appreciate the red pistols and am working on acquiring all variants of the TT33 pistol.
Is it a big deal to get a pistol license?
Not everyday that you find rifle with a serial number in the year you were born. I literally found this the week of my birthday on EE, was as given that I bought it and made her. It shoots well too, first round is a bit of a flyer but after that's it's a 2-3"MOA depending how I'm shooting with MFS ammo

Little more hoops to jump through but not that big a deal. Got mine mainly so I could continue collecting readily available well priced red surplus firearms in the restricted category as well as non restricted.

Since 2012 I've had 3 sks rifles & have since sold them. I've owned alot of nice guns (ARs are still my favorite) & have a nice vz58 to fill that caliber role, but lately I've been drooling over sks rifles! These 2 are fantastic
