Browning McMillan Long range hunter?

Saw on facebook that browning is releasing a factory bedded (fiberglass), fluted barrel, stainless steel long range hunter that comes in a macmillan stock. Wondering if anything is getting these in Canada? If so I'm curious on the price. I know the states are getting them for around 2K, but that doesnt mean much.

Bartons Big Country in Grande Prairie AB has the bottom one as well. If it had a heavy barrel I would have shown more interest but didn't

That is what I fall prey to also. A lot of my "Hunting" rifles get more work at the range then in the field.

IE I take my target rifles hunting.

The gun dealer in Macadam New bruswick will be carrying the the McMillian and everything else. I'm putting an order in for the McMilian.

Is it worth the high price vs doing a build with a McMillan stock? I don't know much about the x bolt action but I almost feel like it's probably inferior to custom actions... Sweet browning tho for sure

X3 ^^^ or buy any other quality rifle off EE and drop it in a mcmillan of choice. I will say ... brilliant move by Browning marketing wise. Thats coming from someone that wouldnt piss on a browning if it was on fire

Spoke with Browning Canada and the MSRP of the A3-5 stainless Target is set at $3,800 CDN. They have not yet arrived in Canada and the rep did not have an ETA at the moment.
