New for 2017. Double stack, center feed AICS mags from American Rifle Company.

These are basically like a Sako TRG mag (double stack center feed) but it is an AICS mag for Rem 700 and clones.

An AW ten round magazine is the same length as a 5 round AICS magazine.

These look rad, just like most things that come out of ARC. I mean, that Mausingfield is basically a functional piece of mechanical art.

I'm sure there is a reason but I have always wondered why the AICS and the AI AE didn't just use AW magazines. They're smaller, you can port load them, and it would be one less magazine type AI would have to produce.

The AE could have with its 3 lug bolt but the AE receiver is not as wide as the AW's so that might be why. AICS chassis was designed for Rem 700 and needed a center feed to work with a factory Rem receiver and bolt.

I do think AI should have designed and made the AE and AICS mags like ARC's design from the beginning (double stack with a center feed).

Yeesss, they will ! The missing link for my next build. Nice to see that they do exist - somewhere.
