Can anyone put a ballpark on a barrel. Regular profile off a standard 10/22. Iron sights less than 50 through it. Matte finish

They have been on ee for 80 and 90 and have sold. I can't guess final sale price but it's fair to say they weren't 40 bucks . if that's the case so be it I have no need for it. I have no idea just going by ee as that is the market I'll be in.

I would agree with around $40-50 in your pocket after shipped. Stainless maybe $60-70 in your pocket.
The low round count is not as big of a factor with the .22s imo they don't get worked down like the larger calibers.
Who knows what someone will pay, just test the waters on the EE.

I`m no expert ,but with so many folks swapping their barrels for aftermarket and such ,I don`t see the market for new or used stock 10/22 being all that generous.

Myself, I plan on buying another 10/22 and getting a new barrel (plus other upgrades) and never thought about trying to sell the stock barrel .I would probably stash it away in the parts bin for posterity or a practice gunsmithing project.

But then who knows who`s looking for a newer barrel ,never know.

Start high (but not full throttle retard high) and go from there, say 40 bucks and a square of beer (oh my...that may be too much already LOL)

Good luck !

Only use I see for a takeoff stock 10/22 barrel is fixing a screw up on the cheap, or a blank for another application. $40 is about the top end I could see getting.

I`m actually surprised you can get 40 bucks for a used barrel ,not bad I suppose for a project .

Hell, for 40 clams I`d bite (shipping included of course)

? Why ask if you already know ?

I clearly said I didn't know. I referred to what I saw on ee. Which is one posted for 70 and sold next to it lately and others posted at 90 a few weeks ago . like I said I can't possibly know final sale price. Why post when you contribute nothing. Thanks all for the input people. Got the confirmation I needed

I just sold one a couple days ago $45. If it's an old one with no warning stamped in the barrel some guys are looking for them and will pay a little more.

I was kind of thinking the same thing. You did answer your own question after not liking the answer you got.

I think the computer screen makes it tough to get an insight into my feelings about the 40 dollar reference lol. I didn't say I didn't like it, I said it didn't match recent pricing in the ee. I couldn't give a #### what the price is I just want to post it with some information. The people that did answer helped me and I thank them, and I see a small spread in price. I looked at it and it has 50th anniversary marks. It's may be a 20 dollar difference if I want to sit on it which doesn't really make a difference in the grand scheme of things. these responses are pointless but thanks

Well what are you gonna do eh ! LOL

I personally have never seen used stock barrels on the rimfire EE (although I don`t often go to the WTB section) and also the fact that I got the .22 Rimfire "BUG" during Christmas ,so I never came to the rimfire section.

I have a couple older .22s but just bought a Marlin bolt in .22WRM and a RIA 10/22 clone (it was just the action and barrel...got lucky on that purchase) which I put into an ATI AR 22 aftermarket stock (looks cool enough)

BUT...I plan on getting another 10/22 (Ruger) and using it for a project gun (short heavy barrel, trigger etc.) so I like you will be selling the stock barrel when the time comes.Just depends on whether or not I get a SS or blued ,which should bring in a little more cabbage !

So...now we both know !!

Cheers

Blued 18.5 with sights in VG condition. $40-$45 net. Stainless 18.5 with sights in VG condition add $20.00

16.5 ,20,22, VG condition non bull barrels add $20-$25 depending on sights

As with most items condition matters.

This. I paid slightly more for my stainless 16.5" standard barrel a few years back, but it was new.

ive got a couple 10/22 stock barrels out in my shop from builds ive done, if i get a couple more i may have to look into building a Gatling gun!

How sweet would that be, although I`ll bet RCMP Gestapo headquarters would have a fit !! LOL

Cabelas has that kit for a dual barrel gatling based on 10/22s,of course only in the USA.

Wish we could have some fun around here.
