Something a little lighter then my Viper 2.5-10x44?

I'm thinking of shedding a little weight on my M70 EW. I currently have a Vortex Viper 2.5-10×44 on it that I'm sure I can replace with something much lighter. Obviously I could go down to a Leopold Ultra Light 3-9 or 2-7 but I kinda like the 2.5-10 power. Are there any recommendations for a nice light scope in that range?

I haven't look but I bet they weigh similar, kind of a beefy scope.

Monarch 3 2.5-10x42 is 16.6 oz. Nice scope too.

Once I get the loading development don't, I switch to a FXII 4x if I need a lightweight scope.

Not sure if that helps or not but they are very clear scopes, small and quite light.

Your right, the HS is 16.5 and the PST is 18.8

Guess it wouldn't be that big of a weight savings

They are a VERY good choice for an all-around hunting scope. I have two here.

Great scope, I have several as well... you might also consider Swarovski Z3 3-9x36, if you're OCD it matches better.
