I am fairly new to shooting and was at the range today shooting my TC Silver Lynx .22 at 50 yards. :dancingbanana: I am thrilled that I shot such a good group and thought I would share with everyone. Check out the pic of my last group of 5 shots. :sniper:
There is a dime in the pic for size reference.

Good job bud.
###y lookin .22 as well :)
What kind of scope are you using?

The Scope is a Tasco World Class 3-9x40. Its like a $100 scope...nothing special but great for a .22. Even came with a free shooting bag

What flavour of ammo did you feed it?

Excellent group.

Federal champion High Velocity 40 grain solids. About $18.xx from Canadian Tire. Doesn't seem to like the cheeper stuff as much....unfortunately.

Asphalt599 - How are you enjoying the TC Silver Lynx? Is it holding up well? Are the clips readily available and reasonably priced? I am looking at one...

Well, I haven't had it out much lately. No time do get to the range much. I did a fair bit of shooting with it last year and it was great. Shoots awsome. Seems to be very well made. I would definately recomend it to anyone. The mags are available through SIR. I think they are about $25. I haven't really checked anywhere else for the mags. If you have the chance to pick one up.....DO IT! You wont regret it.

that's very nice ashphalt599! I was actually going to ask on here what the thoughts of the T/C R-55 Target vs. one of the CZ 452/453 model's. I know how well regarded the CZ's are, but I don't know anything about the T/C and they all fit into about the same price range. :)

If you were a newfie then we'd all expect that group to be even tighter! :D

Nice shooting! Keep that up and you'll have to move onto the 100 yard target stand and embarass the centerfire guys.

Seems like the shooter's got a knack for it, I'd say - a good rifle, and a darn fine rifleman...:)

Thanks for the info Asphalt599... I have a show to go to, and want to check out what everyone has, and then I will make my decision.

We do 90% of our shooting in 70kph winds and when we do get those 2 calm days per year, the bullets have to cut a path through clouds of black flies and mosquitoes. :)

I'll have to try those federal champions in my tc classic. I haven't tried them yet. Of the stuff that I have tried Win dynapoints shoot right up there with any of it. This includes some target ammos such as Laupa Master M and Club.

Very nice shooting.
