I just talked to Brian and the match is now full. I registered a few weeks ago abut just paid today. Hope I'm still in.
 
Sorry, but the house had to come down last year. Was starting to get a little rough around the edges.
Have not designed the stage for that huge wide bay yet, so am open to suggestions.

Oh no! That shoot house was awesome! Make the Rifle Director at the club build a new one:).
Suggestions.... hmmm. I don't know how it would affect the stage reset time, but start with rifle on steel againt the bank, perhaps from multiple positions, pistol targets scattered in front of, and inside the ditches on both sides, and then shotgun steel and clays at the base of the bank, shotgun staged across, or on, the bridge? Make us run! Bwah ha ha!

Having the clay thrower last year was nice, good bay for that...
Oh... Is it possible to rescue enough of the sadly worn out structure to create a maze, or barricades?
Tunnels? Haven't done tunnels yet....
...Stage the shotgun in a ditch? Trench warfare? Dump the pistol first of course...might be hard on the ditches, perhaps a ramp....

That is a nice bay, if you want suggestions, maybe you could post the dimensions and features? Winning design gets a...? Free lunch? Straw hat? Must wear glue on Elvis sideburns so we all know who to thank?

One concern with VTAC walls on a major 3gun match is that rifles with compensators tend to destroy the holes by their sideways blast. It is good practice to make it out of better material than the cheapest fiber board, or at least have spares on hand and ready to go.
 
So now that Redneck is full I think its time for me to chirp you BC guys to register for Prairie Fire in august. Last I checked other than the Saskatchewan crew we have shooters signed up from Ontario,Manitoba, and Alberta but zero from BC so come on out and raid our prize table and let us take care of the heavy lifting.
 
We had plans to go, but the move to later in the season, ended up conflicting with my holiday schedule.
Wish you guys luck and hopefully will make it to your Second annual Prairie fire!!

I'll be honest... I'm using up all my man-points to go to the Canada 7s Rugby Tournament this weekend, and the Redneck 3 gun. Perhaps Prairie Fire 2018 is in the cards?!? Where can I find info on the event this year and next?!?
 
info can be found on facebook search Prairie Fire Classic Multigun Match, yes unfortunately the date change affected some people but the range couldn't be down for that long for set up and clean up with the clubs LEO contracts. we'd love to see a bus full from BC roll in.
