Da Grizzly bent 18.5 inch barrel

I love how people make ignorant statements about this being his first comment or that he should have contacted CA first. If you can correctly read the OP he never flamed the seller, he just asked opinions and stated he had contacted the seller, they said it would not effect it. Whether you have been on this form for years or a day you hold the same credibility in my mind (very little), people quick to flame OP's in instances like this are the ones who look like fools because you clearly can not read. Give your opinion to the question, not on other things. Rant over. My opinion is to return it and ask the replacement be checked before shipping.

Just out or curiosity, place another straight edge on the top of the barrel and report back the results.
If the straight edge has a gap at the same location then the barrel is tapered and not bent.

I emailed Canada ammo and they said I could return it. But I don't want the hassle. I've spent almost $1000 on their website over the past 8 months and was hoping for better customer service

No rant required

Checked top and underside . It is a kink upward in the barrel. Just where the front sight has been welded on. I would say a 1/32 of a inch. or less
If OP isn't happy just send it back for replacement. Not trying to slag here...

If you look inside barrel and see any ripples it is a junk barrel and as I said before any sights etc put on are by silver solder
If you weld you destroy whatever alloy the steel is unless it is reheat treated !
