NO4 Long Branch From Corwin Arms

Seriously? No buyers grief here!

These are Canadian marked No1 and No4 rifles.
The last time these were likely fielded was in the hands of a soldier - each one of these are a CDN time capsule.

As for Westrifle getting enfields in this smells a lot like what Marstar does
Promiss to bring great rifles in at fantastic prices and nothing materializes.
Meanwhile the retailer who bent over backwards to bring you product gets screwed.

I hope Westrifle pulls through for people though and it's not just smoke and mirrors.

Forgive me if this has already been discussed previously ....but what is the history behind these batches of LB rifles? Where are they getting them in such quantities?

Also interesting that a very large proportion of the SMLE's were BSA "dispersal rifles" manufactured during WW2. Are these also Canadian marked?

I'm very satisfied with the one I got from Corwin. I think a couple people picked up multiples in order to keep the best of the bunch and that is what we are seeing on the EE.

Ya, I can completely understand that.

On a somewhat related note. Hate to go on a EE tirade, but what is up with all these guys bumping their prices after they get and ignore "I'll take its"? They should automatically get negative feedback. Watched it happen twice in the last 2 days.

My only regret is that I didn't order a no1mk111 as well as the no4mk1 .they don't come along in this condition every day ,Canadian issue ww11 rifles in very good to excellent condition ,who wouldn't want to have at least one

I thought the same thing so I bought a couple. The 1942 I received is in great shape and all matching. And it shoots great as well. Same with the 1917.
Bubba has not touched these guns.

I got a 1945 No 4 Long Branch on the last batch, and picked up a 1917 MkIII SMLE last night as well.

Prices are near the top end I think but the No 4 I got is in imecpable shape. The bore cleaned up brighter than some of my chrome-lined guns. Very impressed, I would hazard to say being a 1945 that it might have never been shot. No FTR stamps anywhere on it, and yes C-broadarrow marked as well.

Dang I missed that bunch. I am looking for a nice post war Long Branch.
