London Drugs - Cassiar scope

Hey y'all

Was at LD and was intrigued by the Cassiar scope they had there. I believe it was branded c/v (clear view?) but am curious if anyone has experience with these or know if it's a relabelled Barska?

I did a search on Barskas in this forum and most all reviews were negative. Is this still the consensus or have things gotten better?

Looking to replace the 20+ year old Simmons Deerfield 3x9 that just died on my .22lr

Why waste money on junk scopes ? If that is what you want to do get something of ebay for $100.

OP - I know my first response may seem harsh but, seriously, I am just trying to help as many of us ( myself included ) have been there - buying cheap scopes is something only rich people can afford. If you read my stuff you will see I've reviewed a lot of glass from cheap Chinese knock offs to top end gear and, really, with glass you do get what you pay for. Recently there were some smoking deals on decent glass like, for example, the Zeiss Terra at WSS for less than $300 that will be significantly better than whatever you were looking at in a drug store.

Just went on their website and apparently they do. They all look like very cheap Chinese made ones though.
