LOL! Thanks for the warning, I'll dump all my Chinese guns right away. Well in another 30 or so years maybe not right away, but I will dump them.
I've had (or have) good and crappy guns from the following countries:
USA
Canada
Russia/Soviet Union
Turkey
Germany
England
Serbia
China
Yes, good and bad from all of the above.
Do you need to do your research to figure out whether a Chinese gun you're planning on buying has a good or bad rep? Yup. But you need to do the same for any gun, from anywhere.
And even then you can get stung from time to time.
But eliminating an entire country's output from my collection because of some mis-informed bias? That's just silly, and you're doing yourself a disfavour and are missing out on some fun, interesting, and useful firearms.

Should be just in time for 7.62x39 Surplus ammo shipments to tighten up because of the situation across the pond.
Would be horrid irony to finally get these bullet hoses in and see 7.62x39 go the price route of everything else surplus right now, 7.62x54 has doubled over the last year or so, same with 7.62x25 etc Only a matter of time.
Much like the SKS, the huge appeal of the firearm was based on the mass availability of cheap ammo.
Yup it appears July is "supposedly" when these will even start yo be manufactured.
So by all likelihood not till the fall/winter of 2017 IF THEN

Well I think I'm going to hang in for the long haul. I'll just buy something else to keep me distracted.
You could buy one of those rifles all the young guys are talking about a "Mosin".
Ya that's not a bad idea, except I don't really need two mosin's at the moment.
