Exactly my point - from my perspective, the original did not have a fundamental flaw to fix that necessitated the release of a new version with all the advertised "improvements".

I, like you, think many people want it because it's new to market. And also the fact it has an AR style mag release (since it's not a 'real' X95)
If the Tavor had the AR style release, you'd probably see it selling better than the X95 since internet consensus believes it looks cooler and is slighter more accurate than X95.
