BRNO got absorbed by CZ years ago. If you can find a CZ dealer, they can probably hook you up.

Site sponsor TradeEx also carries a lot of BRNO related items, including some scope mounts. Not sure if they have the specific one you need, but if you don't see it on their site, give them a call. Good bunch to deal with, have bought a few things off them with no regrets.

My personal advice is to get used to the open sights. I've got a pair of these dating back to '82, in .375 and 9.3X74, ..........took about 5 years to get one set of super expensive scope mounts through BRNO! And I've never come across another set!
But good luck in your efforts!!
Truthfully, being an over/under, the scope sure interferes with a quick reload and kills the concept of "dangerous game rifle"!

The ZH style mounts/rings just might work for this rifle and are in stock at Tradex. If they don't have what you need, they will know where to get it.

What model of o/u is it?
ZH? 500 series? A "new" BRNO 800 series?
The average price of a mount is about $100-140 depending on what model and dovetail it has. I have several and they are not all that impossible to find or afford depending on model, and type of base you wish to buy. Some EAW detachable bases can get pricey if you desire one.
Tradeex is a good place to start. Any good Euro optic source can help you as well. Cz.cz also can have them and I have bought from the factory store in Czech Republic many times now. It's easier than the buying from the USA.

Maybe put a red dot or a 1-4x20 on it? It's your gun, do what makes you happy, and if your eyes aren't the best anymore, (like mine) then a quick view optic may be just what the doctor ordered. Good luck.

Most of the BRNO mounts were originally designed to accommodate the Zeiss (Jena) fixed 4x or occassionally a fixed 6x....both scopes were rail mounted and had an elevation dial only. Windage was accomplished with 2 pairs of opposing 'grub' screws in the base (like the Conetrol rings/bases). Very likely EAW also makes bases and associated rings for them and my personal experience with EAW are that their products are superb and their customer service is excellent. Its a good case of you definitely 'get what you pay for'. If I won the lottery EAW would be on all my rifles accept a few where the Burris Signature Series are better suited to provide elevation.

Wow - thanks for all the info chaps. i must say that I am on the fence too now that I have shot it more.... to scope or not scope - that is the question! I'll look into the sites suggested and if I do will post pics!
