Which jacket to choose?

Im cheap so my camo comes from Walmart during season ending sales. Got a nice pair of camo rain pants for $70, and my jacket (not rain gear, but keeps you dry unless it's pouring) was only $40.

The real money gets spent on gear that goes under the camo.

It's not so much the camo as the material.If you're hunting out of blinds or always near your truck or home, you can get away with the cheap stuff from Can Tire/WalMart, but if the weather ever turns sour on a remote hunt (and it will) you'll be sorry. Mountaineering clothing is good quality as well, but usually noisy. Good hunting clothing doesn't need to be camo, but it's rarely cheap.
As the saying goes, there's no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing.

How did our ancestors hunt. How did the natives hunt. I see no problem with a spear. youd think the antis would like primitive weapons historically used better than "high tech" rifles lol

Don't buy under armour their market for non hunting is huge they don't need hunters and they showed it
