I have been looking at reviews of some remanufactured ammo but not many on the Canadian stuff. I just picked up a shadow 2 and want to start breaking it in 😁 I'm looking for some input on your favourite remaned ammo. Western munitions and wasp seem to have great deals but also interested in Centaure Atlanta arms, ext. any weight. And what kind of consistency are you finding and how clean is it. Anything to stay clear of? Thanks for the input.

Don't try Wartak, there are multiple threads about that crap on here. Do a search for Wartak and you will find them.

Two favorites for IPSC are Stac-tactical and Wolf. I hear Wartak has bad QC and is too risky.

Whatever you do, just buy a lot. Factory ammo tends to suck for IPSC as there seems to be little consistently.

That's interesting. I would have thought factory was better. Ipsc is why i got into this handgun. I think it would be a great time so shooting lots for as little money for a Season to get the fundamentals is why I'm After fair priced bulk rounds. Thanks for the info.

I'm 1/2 way tru the 2nd case of 1000 of Centaure 9mm 124 gr, no problems with it at all .
work great in my 1911 and sig 226, accuracy is good and seems pretty clean . Wish they would do 45acp

My range uses western munitions as there in house brand , have not heard of any complaints

I've gone through an awful lot of 9mm in the last few years, and used thousands of

Centaure
Custom Reloading
Wartak
Canada Ammo (1500 only as they are new)
X-Metal

I've not had any real issues with any of it. An occasional dud primer or missing primer.

Everyone is pretty anti Wartak ammo but I went through 10 000 of them in about a month last year and had 2 missing primers and one dud primer IIRC. I assume they upped their QC, but really I've had more issues with some factory fresh ammo than the Wartak.

I usually shoot Custom Reloading Service, but they're in BC so shipping may kill the deal for you. I've also shot a lot of BDX and Western Metal, and they're in Alberta so may be better for you.

Who is the supplier for stac?

I think you can buy Stactactical ammo from Stactactical directly but I think some shops like NAS, North Tactical Supply, SFRC, Areios Defense, Tenda and maybe some others carry it. You might be able to email them and ask if they will sell it to you or who has stock.

If you don't reload, find a company that reloads for competition shooting, and you will see a night and day between that and factory ammo. but make sure they are an experienced company so you don't get blown up.

Whatever you do, don't get those non-toxic primer ones. There are a few companies that use these special primers that are supposed to be non-toxic or lead free or something, but I have never had so many FTF before.
